The CardioReady® designation program establishes much-needed standards and guidelines for the meetings and conventions industry.

The CardioReady certification process incorporates the American Heart Association's Automated External Defibrillator (AED) program recommendations, and includes an assessment of a property, the installation, implementation, and maintenance of AEDs. It also includes the training of onsite personnel using the American Heart Association's Heartsaver AED curriculum or equivalent and following accepted best practices in compliance with local and state regulations.

Meeting professionals can easily identify hotels, convention centers and other meeting facilities with AED programs that have undergone independent evaluation and have received one of the designations listed on the right, which will be noted on each facility’s detail page across the StarCite Online Marketplace.
